sebastiano pavia

tappinara

music lab

a double-headed fretless guitar. made from a single piece of spruce, two bridges and two humbucker pickups at both ends. designed to be played in tapping it produces two opposite notes, surprisingly if played on only one side it sounds an ambiguous note similar to a sitar.

two scales from the right and left give awareness of the notes, accommodate left-handed people and even allows two to play.
